*Argentium is a sterling silver alloy comprised of 93.5% silver, 5.5% copper and 1% germanium (an element similar to tin and silicon). The resulting alloy has a higher silver content with the addition of germanium which makes the metal highly resistant to tarnishing for a bright finish that lasts longer.
