These gorgeous post earrings take a unique minimalist approach, using simple sterling silver lines to create a geometric representation of a princess cut diamond.
This piece is part of the Dibujoya (Draw-a-Jewel) collection from La Objeteria. These pieces are born from the abstraction of a gemstone cut; it is how a diamond’s shape is represented in the diamond quality certificate. Each gem is cast solid in sterling silver, then oxidized or polished to a mirror-like surface. The pieces work like signet rings did in the past, to be able to stamp a personal mark. With a little ink or paint you can build the jewelry of your dreams, with millions of karats, just like in the paintings from the museums and the greatest artists.
